Heaphone Volume Too Loud

Thanks to this forrum I just got my Sprint Diamond running flawlessly on my Verizon account. Thanks to everyone for supplying this information.

I would like to use my Diamond for listening to music through headphones, however I find the volume too high even on the lowest setting. On my Diamond there are only five volume settings when using the volume rocker on the side. Each step adds or removes three white lines. When I have headphones connected and the volume level showing three lines it is too loud, the only lower choice is fully muted. I have tried the included HTC headphones, my Scullcandy in ear headphones with the included adapter and another adapter I had gotten for my VX6900. The only way I was able to listen was using an old pair of poor quality headphones i have that have a volume adjustment on the wire.

Am I alone in this? Does anyone know a fix? Possibly a setting or program that will allow me to adjust the volume in finer incriments? Thanks for your help.

Erik

Re: Heaphone Volume Too Loud

Try using your stylus to adjust one increment at a time....

I don't know about an equalizer, unless you are refering to the audio booster, which I don't have either since I flashed Jucie's ROM.

Erik
That you bad, with the Audio Booster you can select Treble/Bass reducer. You can also make changes manually

Re: Heaphone Volume Too Loud

Well, I did have audio booster, and it doesn't have volume controll. Like you said it only adjusts tone.
