It's possible that there is, but I haven't seen it. I always use the cab install method, even when cooking into a rom -- it's automatically installed on first boot. With the cab install, it plays nicer with Manila.

You can see by the date in the file name, that the new version is only a couple of weeks old, and i believe that it was just officially released yesterday.

thanks again, i'll play with it and try both the cab and OEM (once made) to see how it shakes out...

Someone posted this in another thread and I picked it up yesterday. Worked like a charm! Search for it I think its in the Upgrades forum.

It seems to run a bit better but the nice thing i noticed was that it let me install to internal storage. This along with the new version of google maps being installed to internal storage. I was able to free up about 5-6 MB on the stock sprint rom.

Finally a working SprintTV. It was barely usable before. Unfortunately it's still a huge battery hog though.

yes lots of people had a problem with their tv. Some customers of mine didn't let it update when it was asked...so it quit working. The cab file fixed it! YAY! Thanks for the help!
