Touchflo wallpaper blurry

Hi there,

couldnt find an answer in xda or ppcgeeks so ill just post my problem.

When i apply a 480x640 image as a background for the touchflo it appears blurry, even resized differently. But when i view it as a wallpaper for Today getting rid of touchflo it is crystal clear!

Is this HTC's touchflo wallpaper not really 480x640? Or maybe touchflo sucks at resizing images?

I am using Juicy 3.7.1 ROM, Radio 0.99

did you drop the contrast to 0%? i think its actually called transparancy not contrast. i was thinking tv settings.

This is for the touchflo background. Its when you go to settings and hit wallpaper, then find the image that you want.

I did set the transparency to 0% for the Today background and that looks okay its the touchflo background that degrades the quality.

i can use a 480x640 wallpaper in tf3d and it appears fine, same crystal clear resolution.

I tried 480x640 wallpaper, not so clear.

I've noticed this too. Viewing an image full size at 480×640 in the album/Explorer looks perfect, but once I make set it as the wallpaper the quality degrades. I have a Sprint Diamond, and I've also noticed the background on the Comm Manager screen is a lot clearer than the same background viewing the actual TF3D tabs... it looks like a badly compressed JPG in comparison.
