Help- GSmart VGA Almost done!

i opened up the cab file and not only converted the files to a VGA size, but also edited the application.xml for the vga resolution and placement of icons... i have a demo image converter so they are not the final product, large images like the clock say "DEMO" on them... thats an easy fix tho. Also, i'll have to guess and check where to place the analog clock hands... easy fix that takes barely any effort, but only if the rest can be solved:

only problem is, the images seem to be in place but i'm still only getting the top left corner... is this to do with the shell.exe? cuz in setupxml and applicationxml i've converted everything for my diamond...

any wiz's out there to help me?

if you look at the pic, you can see the 3 icons at the top are where they should be and at the correct size..

also that the signal bars are in the right place and of correct VGA size... hmmm.. how do i spread this over the entire screen to veiw the rest??



and with the clock you see "trial version", but that will be fixed.


I've attached the cab i created in the zip file below... anyone who knows anything about resolution changes, please help.

Zip the originals and I'll Photoshop Batch file them to VGA. No Demo

There is a weather iPhone looking app for WM. The problem is they hard coded the 320x240 size into the .exe

PS It locked up my Diamond. Plus it never ran really well on my Touch.

S.O.B! It turns out the DEMO is from extracting the images via trial of WinCE Cab Manager...

any others which allow extracting? Quickcab doesn't

The quickest way to change the files is to install the software. Then move all the graphics over to the PC. Use Photoshop batch to change them all to VGA. The only problem is the wallpaper looks to be hard coded to 320x240. This is why only the top left quarter of the screen is visable.
