Hack- better Camera pics

Seems a little drastic so instead of CapKeyDelayTime = 15 (old=1500), I changed it to 150. Same with CaptureTimer = 50 (old=5000), I changed it to 500. Does seem like it takes the picture quicker. Not sure about quality, but... will continue to test. Thanks for sharing!

After a hard reset, it works fine. Now to see what is conflicting with it.

any chance to speed up or eliminate the auto focus feature? this is what takes so long... although this edit is niiiiice, it's definitely sped up the camera. Just tell your subject to listen for the beeps - smile - then hold til the shutter sound..

Has anyone here tried the burst reg edit for the camera? Im curious if the would speed it up. I have it in my diamond tweaks. I guess I can try and tell you guys. Lol.

Ok so burst doesnt speed up the first pic but if you continue to hold it down, it takes up to 30 multiple pics. Atleast this way you should be able to get atleast one good pic out of 30. LOL.

Exactly! I've done that too just to work around the crappy response time. I am SO disappointed in this camera - 3 mp doesn't mean anything if you can't get a crisp shot. I'm so aggravated!
