Diamond Dimming After A Few Seconds

Hey Everyone,
Just got my replacement Diamond (previous one stopped vibrating) and now Ive noticed the screen dims if i dont use it for a few seconds, I have to touch the screen to brighten it again.

I have gone into the power settings, etc and changed everything I can think of, but I honestly dont think my first one did this. It stayed bright until I hit the power button to lock it, or it locked itself

Any ideas?

mine does it, I think its a power saving feature. If you take it foutdoors in sunlight it will brighten significantly

Start/Settings/System/Power/Backlight - Uncheck "Auto adjust backlight"

Check your advanced tab too and see what those settings are at. On battery power, the backlight turns off if not used for 10s (that's default factory setting)

Not do what? Dim after a certain amount of time of inactivity? The max setting is 5 minutes running on battery power or you can uncheck that option. Just go to the advanced tab when you go into the power settings. The first checkable box is for on battery power and is time to dim if not used. This will take care of the backlight turning off and it will stay on all the time until either you power down the phone or hit the power button. Hope this helps you.
