Is there a zoom feature on the diamond?

So recently, my buddies have been showing me how their sms messaging works, and I'm a huge fan of texting. I mean HUGE!

So I was playing around with theirs, and one thing that I particularly like is the auto corrections that it does! It's outstanding and very helpful.

Is there an app for this or something that I could download that would make my diamond do this?

Also, I also noticed that if you did happen to make a mistake, you could click on the text and it would bring up a very unique magnifying glass and you could move the cursor to wherever you needed it.

Unlike the diamond, where you just have to kind of guess where to click.

Are there any apps like these or some kind of program that could be used for the HTC Diamond?

I hope there is.

rotate the dpad clockwise and it will make the text bigger in the sms application (and many other applications as well)

i can't think of anything to zoom in on text that you want to edit before sending... you realize that you can use the d-pad to move the text cursor back and forth, right? i actually didn't realize this for a while. when i had the diamond, i would just try to finger point the best i could... if i had to edit something close to the screen's edge, i would just delete the least amount of words that i had to, to get to that point. i'd be interesting in an app that could zoom in one the text before you sent it though.

as for error correction, from the keypad, hit options -> options -> t9 settings -> and check spell correction and word completion. its fairly acurate, but sometimes it'll miss something. i really hate how the phone selects view instead of they in t9 from the phonepad, because i say they much more than view. i wish there was a way to edit what word shows up first. same goes for me and of. i rarely talk about myself, so i'd much rather have of come up first in the word selection.

No way?! I never knew you could move the text cursor back and forth! Omg thats awesome

haha, yeah... i didn't know this until i got a pro, but i assumed the dpad works the same on the diamond. i really wish i knew that when i had the diamond, because the guess-pressing to edit a typo was really annoying me, especially when driving.

I just tried it on the diamond, and it didn't work. hmph
