Update Diamond to Framework 3.5

First of all, I didn't know if I should try to put this on the upgrades or software forum.

I'm trying to update my Diamond to the 3.5 Framework. I've googled Microsoft Framework 3.5 and downloaded that to my computer (it did not seem to work when I downloaded it to my phone) and now that that's done, I am clueless what to do from here since there is. Any help would be great!

I'm doing this because I'm trying to find a good way to get a landscape (horizontal) keyboard on my phone for text messaging. I've installed a program called Gyrator 2 and it said it needed this.
