Thing is I like the OEM keyboard that I can just hold the key for the alt characters.. but with both versions of spb you press either the ABC key or the function key to get the alt characters so versionwise that is a wash.

Suz.. when loaded/installed you can set it as default keyboard and it will be the popup that comes. I do like that you can switch to landscape at anytime by pressing the keyboard button on the layout, which is also how you get to the menu button to change your options.. also I have it and all hte various skins installed on the storage card without issue. I am using version 4 since I went ahead and got the uprade for $4.95, paid only $9.95 originally for version 3 plus the 20% discount for already owning spb software... its a great company as far as support and $$ goes.

Please clarify:

With V3.x, I have to press "FN" to access symbol & alternate characters, press and hold does not work (is there an alternate method??). It's a reasonable strategy, press FN once, hit the character you want, QWERTY stays put.

With V4.x, I have to press "Sym" to access the alternate character panel, I would press the desired key, and then "ABC" to return to QWERTY. It's a minor pain. Is there an alternate method here I'm not aware of?

I wish the HTC OE QWERTY includes a row of numbers on top so I wouldn't have to "press and hold" for numbers.
