And for those who want to get this done professionally, i went to utstarcom located in brampton, ontario. They will replace your WHOLE housing with one of a color of your choice (provided that they have it in stock and its made) for $80 and keep ur original one =)
Are u serious? $80? I have to agree with Nautica. The battery cover is the only realistic thing to customize on these cases so this DIY method is quicker, cheaper, and better. $80! Ha! Thats is just overkill. A 5 year old can dye an easter egg and thats all this really is honestly. So talk of swapping out whole cases and spray painting clear coats and such is just bogus. Just my opinion

yea i hear what ur saying, but for those people that drop their phones, and have them scratched up, an OEM housing fitted for 80 bucks may not be that bad, especially since it doesnt void your warranty right?

i personally would never do it, but its always an option for those who like to spend $$ to get good work. I just found it out since i took my old touch for repair there.

edit: and nautica, completely agree with you about them not being feasible spendings, but was just throwing it out there.

many are finding success just walking into Sprint repair stores and simply asking for a replacement cover... free of charge. I have yet to try it, but i'm pretty sure there would be no problem as I go in there all the time so they kinda know my face. i'd recommend this as they first option for those needing 'extra' covers.

@ Mixxy: i never have a problem with having options. thanks for the input!
