I think most of the time when a device is released without features that could have been easily implemented it's because they try to push them out as quickly as possible to beat other phones to the market.

Re: Touch Response With Vibrate Is Now Available!

Yeah I remember seeing in one of the initial videos over at the pre-release site that they were including haptic touch. I always though it had it when I bought it and was one the only things that miffed me when I started it up for the first time.

constantly vibrating the device must have some wear n' tear on a device that wasn't meant for that feature!!!!!!!

I'm not worried about that. It's something most carriers would replace the device for (if insured).

Would depend on frequency of use regarding vibrate mode for ringing and this application. I wonder if short burst vibrations cause more wear and tear than the longer duration vibrations that are associated with ringing?

not likely... vibration isnt a new feature to phones... been around for a while... i doubt it would break anything lol in your phone... unless your girlfriend sneaks off with it and goes to town with the vib sorry that was uncalled for

Re: Touch Response With Vibrate Is Now Available!

just installed the TouchResponse .02 on my new stock touch pro and when the installation was finished it said a soft reset had to be done, and to click yes to do that now. I clicked yes and it froze my phone. I had to do a soft reset. It's working great after that though. I like it. thanks snailslug
