Re: Bell UI (UPDATED DEC 19th! Fully WORKING! CAB)

to all the people saying that xboxmod isnt doing any more work on the ui because its a dead end/no demand/bugs, its NOT TRUE. So let me put that to rest. He's busy with a few other things, and he claims that he doesnt have the required ability/skills to port the ui to vga.

Hi
Everyone
sorry for this late reply
i'm working on a lots of thing & I've made all i can do on bell_ui interface!
i don't have knowledge to porting it on qvga & fix the wvga
this project need research to edit .jif and .cdl
maybe if someone find a way to edit those files,
I'll be back on this project,
but for now i stop my work on it
Really sorry it's above my skills.
bye
xboxmod
@ dcd: the ui is vga. thats why it looks crystal clear on ur diamond/pro

as for the wrong shortcut. I'm trying to find a cure. Im not an expert at decompiling stuff, so it's a little slow. hopefully I can get somewhere to help you guys.

and just an update. i might have found a way to edit the cdl files so we can implement new themes. But honestly, its going to be A LOT of work.

Re: Bell UI (UPDATED DEC 19th! Fully WORKING! CAB)

hey syanni

thanks for that post. But i personally feel that point ui has always been subpar until the bell ui came along. As for their new interface, i dont think it's as polished as the bellui, but we shall see i guess.

as for the updates: now the cdl files that would require editiing, would also come along with the idea that there are like 500 files to be edited for graphical themes, would anyone be interested in doing that much work just to change colors around?

the music player: i havent been able to find anything solid, but my peering continues. hope i get this soon and working for all u guys. It's in the stock rom, so im now learning to extract it from there (feel like a noob again)

Re: Bell UI (UPDATED DEC 19th! Fully WORKING! CAB)

When is PointUI 2 coming out?

EDIT: nm, no release date yet. Sometime in 2009 apparently. Looks pretty sick so far.

A nice attempt, but this cab does nothing of value without the other files.
so wait, I checked this whole thread I dont see a link for the 600 graphic files?

Edit - never mind I see it works fine with the provided CAB files.

One Major problem: Anytime I try and click on headline news or stocks or anything it says I have to subscribe in order to continue, and if I click subscribe button it gives me error message. Anyone know why this is?

Also when I go to the slideshow and go to add photos its blank and I dont see a way to browse for photos?

Battery indicator is now missing from taskbar, can't seem to get it back

Re: Bell UI (UPDATED DEC 19th! Fully WORKING! CAB)

help! Anytime I click on any of the bubbles like weather to read more, it says 'A REQUIRED UPDATE IS REQUIRED TO CONTINUE' and won't let me go any further. This didn't happen at first, what can I do to fix this? Anyone else encounter this issue?

Re: Bell UI (UPDATED DEC 19th! Fully WORKING! CAB)

Quick question. I am just now learning about the ability to swap TF3D for Bell UI. Can I get the opinions of some sprint users/ TF3D users? How does this stack up to TF3D? Also looking into maybe going with the TF3D HD. So much you can do with this phone. It's BANANAS.
