I'm using Juicy 4.3 with the Bell UI and it's great so far! One problem though, i can't seem to open the music player. When I click on "launch music player" it says "error opening shortcut or locating the target filename"

did u install all the cabs? and to the device?

mixxy... how bout openning the news and stuff, do you need to be a bell subscriber still? Thats my make or break...

Yes I did. I followed your instructions exactly and installed all the cabs in correct order. Everything works great, except the music player & radio player.

I'm on TELUS btw.

EDIT: Since the error is a shortcut target error, maybe I could edit this somehow in the registry to point it to the correct target filename of the music & radio player?

i tried to recreate your error. It seems like the bell3 cab which has the music player didnt install. either that, OR bell has its own proprietary music player that is java based which comes with bell roms. That could b the other problem, let me look into it a little more

hey syanni, naw man. dont need to be a bell subscriber. Everything is generic based, as long as u have some type of an internet connection (wifi or ev) ur good to go =)

i pretty much figured that out on accident cause i thought my device was hung after the soft reset. after i pressd teh screen it started right up...the jury is still out on my impressions though...

I just checked over at the XDA thread and it seems like the wrong shortcuts in media is a known bug and it's not fixed because it's embedded in the .exe file. And xboxmod stated that he is no longer developing the BELL UI.

Anyone have a solution for this? Really diggin' the BELL UI and it's unfortunate that there are currently no development on this. With the media shortcuts fixed, it'll be the perfect UI, imo.

There is some other bugs as well which is why I went back to tf3d and spb. And yes that is correct xboxmod isnt doing anything with it anymore as the demand isnt that great. I ran it for a few days and it got boring real quick. And its not even vga/qvga so why even have this nice diamond/touch pro?
