Quality of Skype use

I currently have an HTC titan and i have not had the best of luck with them from alltel.. they must be refurbing them pretty crappy cause i had my first one for 11 months and right before the 1 year warranty hit me the lcd started popping up with bad cells.. well then they replaced it and then replacement #1 had a bad keyboard where the space bar and period key wouldnt work... so i took it back and they ordered another replacement and replacement #2 the wifi button wasnt allowing me to access wifi.. didnt even attempt to connect.. then the they ordered replacement #3 and this one the phone would constantly say to plug it in that the battery was dieing beeping and flashing the red light but when you went to the battery in settings it showed 100%..... so i *****ed with the alltel guy and gave me a HTC Diamond.. well he ordered one for me since they were out of stock on them and its the only one i liked on the displays.. and i noticed in stock form it came with Skype and i used skype alot on my HTC Titan and i wanna know how well it will work with my new Diamond?? is it still through the speakerphone?? or have they fixed this? the Manager said that it will be shipped directly to my house and told me not to worry about sending back the TITAN.. so i will have a diamond and a titan soon.. but the stupid titan is going bonkers saying its dieing.. unless i plug it in.. but when it constantly saying its dieing the battery steadly goes down under normal use.. dropping from 100% to 70-80% by the end of the day.. i have tried to re-install the stock rom but no luck of it being fixed.. if i can figure how to fix it i might have 2 working HTC....

Skype works nicely with my diamond. It doesn't come up in speakerphone by default, which I love. Even so if your diamond doesnt come stock with skype, just download the cab.
