Re: Need a spare OEM battery? $22.99
I've had some correspondence with the seller over the non-OEM battery they sent and it appears that, when it comes to making things right, they talk the talk, but they don't walk the walk. Their initial response was to ask for the model number of the battery I'd received, and what type phone I had-- as if a "mistake" had been made. I gave them that info, but noted that this was not a "mistake", this was a fraudulent listing-- they listed an OEM battery, and that's not what they're selling, all though it was pretending to be (ie, HTC-type packaging on the battery pack). Told 'em I wanted my PaylPal account credited 22.99, asap.
That was on Monday, and I haven't heard from them since. I'm giving them until next week, then starting the PayPal resolution process. |

I got the same first response, I emphatically stated that they were committing fraud and stated all the reasons why the battery wasn't OEM including the smeared serial number. I reminded them that their ebay and website both state satisfaction gauranteed and I was not satisfied. Then they sent me an RMA so I could return the bunk product for refund.

hmmm hope they refund the money first becasue it seems like this ebay company is pretty shady and if you send the product in and then dont receive the money.,...

Re: Need a spare OEM battery? $22.99
i love the cradle, and everyone is right, in the fact that the battery won't charge in the phone. But on mine, both stock and aftermarket batteries fit in the slot in the back. The HTC battery monitor program will give me the correct % left, so I am going to keep it as a spare.

Re: Need a spare OEM battery? $22.99
i recieved the battery from the same seller 2 day ago,it's fake,Ilaso believe it's 900mAh battery not 1350mAh as advertised, cos when fully charged,it's only last about 10 hours with very light use(8 mins phone calls,2 sms,no web browsing,no bt)and the phone shut off.

Re: Need a spare OEM battery? $22.99
Update: igonemobile refused to respond to my emails demanding a refund for the fake battery after I told them I wouldn't take the time and trouble to return the battery-- I just wanted my money back, in full. So, I took it to the PayPal dispute process. The initial part of that process is just more emails to the seller, which they again didn't respond to. However, once I elevated it to an actual claim, the seller credited mt account the $22.99 within 48 hours.

Re: Need a spare OEM battery? $22.99
Just a quick update on my dealings with sourcedepot/igonemobile. I purchased my battery way back on 11/12 and like all of you, it would not charge and had no battery reading. I sent them a few emails and they finally responded. They gave me an RMA number to send the battery back which I did. I received a new battery from them only a few days later so they were pretty fast with the RMA.
Low and behold............................................ ..the battery charges and the power meter works! I was actually quite surprised! I'm wondering if maybe they got a batch of bad batteries before? All in all, $27 for a working battery and two chargers isnt a bad deal, its just a good thing I didnt "have" to have it sooner. |
