How does Garmin XT compare to Sprint Navigation

I'm using Sprint Navigation instead of iGo 8 right now because I like how Sprint Nav optimizes the route based on traffic.

I read that the Garmin XT does that too.. my question is, does it do it as well as Sprint Nav does?

I don't want to pay the monthly for Sprint Nav if I don't have to.
