Phone stop sending and receiving texts

My phone has stopped sending and receiving texts for some reason started a few days ago. I was a on jucy's 2.6 rom but i have reflashed to the stock rom and it still does not work. I am going to call telus to see if its a service thing but I have to wait till tomrrow when they are open. Just wondered if problem has come up before and can be fixed without telus.
