Scratched screen

So I got a new phone and did not have a screen protector on it yet, and of coarse I get a pretty good scratch on the screen right down the middle about an inch long sitting in my wifes purse. So what are my options, how much to replace the screen, any way to fix it? I am within my 30 days till Nov 3rd, but I already got a new phone due to phone shutting off. Do you think i can replace it again or just turn it in and go back to my old phone? I know i can get the insurance and then replace it in like 30 days or whatever for 50 bucks, but would like another option. Any ideas??

PS SCREEN PROTECTORS ARE A GOOD IDEA!!
