SMS Last word sticks

For some reason when I hit send after typing a text message, the last highlighted word/symbol lingers behind and stays in the text box instead of clearing out. Not a big deal but if i want to send an immediate text to the same person, I have to clear out the message field before typing. Anyone have this issue?

what ROM version are you using?

This has happened before when i was using juicy 2.2 or something. it might still be an issue but i've leaned to end text with space bar. that seems to work.

Once you have completed typing the last word of your message, hit the space key to insert the word into your message AND to clear the message field. Hitting the return key may do the same thing.

Yes. Just hit enter or space as described below to insert the word and clear that entry field.

Im using Juicy's 2.6 rom. Yeah I could just hit the space bar. Thanks for the responses.
