Anyone come from a Q?

I am about to pull the trigger but have one question. Has anyone come from a Motorola Q? It is right on the edge reception wise. It works in most places but a lot of areas around town are spotty, not at all in Walmart, and if the Diamond is worse it would be unacceptable. I am not eligible for upgrade until August so I will be ebaying it so I am trying to get as much info as possible before hand. Thanks guys.

My Diamond is a bit better than my girlfriend's Q9c.

I came from the Q on verizon. I got the original one the day it came out up until about a month ago when I got my diamond. I loved my Q and now I gave it to my girlfriend and she is happy with it. I love my Diamond even more. I get way better broadband speed on the Diamond and sprint. The Q was a great phone but the Diamond is way better.

The phone is DIFFERENT than a 9c for sure.

I notice the phone falling back to "1x" a lot.
I changed the ROM. Not 100% sure if it's that or the phone since I found the Sprint "interface" to be laggy too pimped out for my taste.

I think the Q9c has a better feel in hand while typing but the screen blows it away.
I was concerned about the lack of a physical keyboard but besides some really strange predictions, and me not checking, I can crank out a text or post faster than on the Q.
As long as I don't have to edit. Once I have to edit it goes to pot, Probably because my D-pad craps out at wired times.
