I really want android on my phone... Don't you?

I really don't see what the big deal with Android is, my G/F has the G1 and its kind of an ugly phone with an "ok" OS IMHO

The appeal really is the official "open" nature of the OS for development. (at least for me anyway...)

Sure we can tweak and customize our WinMo phones now, but the Android OS takes it alot further from everything I've been reading.
