Well of course it doesn't work, the correct sequence is: POWER + VOLDWN + ENTER + RESET |

Power the phone off first Hold the center button (round button) + Vol down then also hold the power button until the screen comes on with the reset instructions/information. If they apply the power button first once the phone is off, it won't work because then the phone will turn on. |

The key sequence will work no matter who's brand you have, or who's ROM. It also works on the locked, unlocked and mfg SPL. |

The procedure I mentioned that does work for me and my phone only works if the power button is the last button pressed otherwise the phone powers on and won't work. My appologies if it makes no sense to you and or you refuse to believe it. However, at this point it really doesn't matter. Maybe my phone is special...come to think of it I know another thread that had the exact same conversation as this one that had MANY sprint people claiming the exact same thing as I am but, I suppose like I said, in the end it matters not. I use what works. |

Re: Please help with GPS issues s/p Juicy Rom install.
u need to add power and reset to that button combo

Re: Please help with GPS issues s/p Juicy Rom install.
I'm done with this POS. I can only hope that the apps I need will eventually find themselves on an Iphone so I can be done with WINDOWS POS operating systems that are more hassle than worth to get working right.
I'm going back to my Katana and will use my Dell Axim for my PDA needs and will buy a Tom tom for my GPS needs. Last edited by rcjunkie; 10-29-2008 at 01:51 AM. |
