I want my cube back

The cube was way faster to dial a person or launch an app. Took little precision to do as well. TF3d looks nice...but requires you to slide.... Then flick... the press.. then press AGAIN.... With the cube.. it was Flick and Press... Done

Launch an app: Slide to programs (or hit right softkey at home panel) and touch app you wanna launch.)

Dial a person: Either slide to people tab and flick to fave person, click pic and dial, or hit phone button and select contacts. I dont see the big deal. You're making it sound like running a marathon or something.

However, each person is entitled to their own opinion. It should be possible to run both at the same time as suggested in this thread. I used this method on the mogul and it worked fine, before I decided that I detest the cube. It just reminds me of some crappy Samsung or Sony interface...I don't know....I just hate it LOL

It is just the number of steps to get a task done that I would like to lower.

I like that on the cube, it gave 9 choices of who to call with 1 single flick. Press.. and then done.

This is especially nice when driving and I need to call somebody... you could use the cube almost without looking... No such luck with the tf3d... at least for me.

I am sure there are others out there that would like to have both as well. I know I would like both... or at least the cube

yeah i rather the cube also, had the 3 sided one all customized to move extremly fast and much more accurate than this tf3,but i like the flip clock on the tf3 if i can get it to display with ilauncher i would not even use tf3, i hate having that call history and alarm display always under the flip clock.

Despite what YOU think, it IS a big deal for many.

Who the heck wants to do all that while your driving? I don't.

In a nice way, I am one of those who would like the cube at this point. I agree that TF3D is beautiful and can be considered the height of technology. But the truth for me is that after all the oooo and aaaahh wore out, I found myself spending a lot of time just trying to get things done. After running my Diamond with SPB Mobile Shell I realized how much TF3D hurts the phone's performance. I peronally don't like the look and cost of SPB so I'm settling with TF3D for now. I wish more developers would spend time on a good UI instead of so many ROM's.

I had a rom on my Touch that had both, so I assume it'd be easy to do on the touch pro, it was really cool having both.

I as well miss the cube--guess it boils down to personal preference. But continuing on the favorite persons example, the flipping the rolodex method in TF3D is cool looking, but there is a lot of times I wish it was more like the cube with a wall of contacts to instantly choose from.
