Re: Two Diamonds and a Touch Pro in my hands. Helpful information/comparison from TP.

Ok, I haven't had a chance to create an account with any hosting sites, but I did upload the pictures to PPCGeeks. If you want to look at them now, here you are:

ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Diamond/Users/sno...mond-TouchPro/

Notes:

1) The top of the three devices were aligned w/ straight edge, even though it doesn't look it. I did the same on top and back shots.

2) The last pic shows TF3D in landscape

3) I threw in a Centro because, on paper, it is the same thickness as the Touch Pro, but the Centro feels smaller because it as a more rounded back.

4) I was trying to show the difference color temperature between the three screens, but it is not obvious in the picture.

Enjoy...

i have one of each too and i think the pics make it look like more of a thickness difference than it really is. I was surprised how close they are in thickness, its basically the width of the stylus difference (put the stylus flat on the diamond and thats the Pro thickness).

Re: Two Diamonds and a Touch Pro in my hands. Helpful comparison from TP. PICTURES!!

Thanks for the review and pic's

I think the tapered back of the diamond makes it feel and look much smaller.

The slide out keyboard not an issue for me, coming from a mogul I never used the thing, I text much quicker on phone keypad on-screen keyboard.

I prefer keeping the phone in my pocket, never liked that belt holster I had to lug around my mogul in.....think pro would be the same.

now the only other 2 things are the microsd...and TV out. If I can get by with the 4gb internal storage I'll stay with the diamond. I have a feeling TV-Out will end up working on the diamond, my bet it is software related and someone will figure it out.

Thats how I'm leaning today at least....still not totally committed though. Only had diamond for a week so when pro comes out I can easily upgrade within the 30 days.

If no one else has done it over the TP forum in a few days, I'll download the apps to do the extract.

I agree about the holster thing. For me, it's the wooping storage memory over the Diamond, the flash, and microSD.
