Maximize Speed

I was able to tether my phone to allow it to be used as a modem, however i only get a speed of 60-70kb, how do i increase that?

I think the overall speed is dependent too the area yoooou're in and if your area supports rev a. I know a lot of areas should vhave the updated network, but stil its possible about the status is not as great where you are. just an opinion...

i dont think location is an issue, i have the 30 sero plan, do i need to upgrade my vison to get it to be faster?

your location is very much an issue, cause if you have a Diamond, which is a power vision phone, then you have Rev A support. The area you live in however may not have it yet, check the Sprint website for support for Rev A in your location. I mean there is somethings you can do your laptop/desktop to allow for higher bandwidth but, overall your data coverage is most dependent on the network.

i just checked and im in the orange zone, which means i have Sprint Mobile Broadband Network and i should get 600 1.4mb

my zipcode is 11023

lucky u make sure that u have ev icon on ur phone showing not 1x 1x will give u 60 to 70 kbs tops 135 0r 150 kbs ev may give u between 600 kb and 800 but usualy is more dipends if its rev a or rev 0
