Re: Unboxing: Alltel HTC Touch Diamond
Good to hear you like it w0rdie. Can't wait to try it out. If you've made some calls, can you comment on the following?
1) How is the call quality (incoming/outgoing voice quality and volume)? 2) How is the speaker phone quality and volume? 3) How is the signal strength? Thanks!

Re: Unboxing: Alltel HTC Touch Diamond
1 and 3 are excellent, I'm one for almost 'too loud' volume that I can then turn down to my liking... the Diamond isn't all THAT loud but it does the job, better considerably than the Touch.
I never use speaker phone so I'll have to get back to you. |

Re: Unboxing: Alltel HTC Touch Diamond
Thanks w0rdie.
I know you've said a million times that the Alltel Diamond has the exact same specs as the Sprint Diamond, but I have one question. The Alltel website has now been updated and everything seems to be the same as the Sprint version, except for the weight. Alltel reports a "weight (w/ battery)" of 5.46 ounces, whereas Sprint reports 4.2 ounces. Seems like a huge difference. I would assume Sprint included the battery in the weight calculation, though not sure. Sprint's battery is 1340 mAh. Is Alltel's battery the same size? How's the battery life? Can you get through a day? Thanks again. |
