turning off tone when you make a call

what tone? on the keypad? the *ring ring* aka callback tone?

phone - menu - options - *change: keypad: "short tones" to "off"

no, if you hold your phone up to your ear right after you make a call it does a tone, i'm assuming its a tone to tell you that you are connected to the call

okk then sorry, mine only vibrates when the call is connected, no sound is made....

this can be toggled on/off under phone - menu - options - advanced tab - uncheck 'vibrate device when connection is established'

If you have the Airave then you will hear a tone confirming that you are calling through the Airave. Otherwise there is no tone when the call connects.

I have the Airave at home and when ever I make a call it beeps to let me know that it is connected through the Airave. There is no changing this.

I hear a tone also. I have the phone set to vibrate on connect. I'll ocasionally hear the beeps after I disconnect too. I've been in a hotel for a week so I don't think I'm on somebody elses open airave. I'm stumped.

I hear the tone also on my mogul and i do not have an airave. what could it be? someone tappin my line, lol
