Re: Sprint Diamond on Verizon?

Thanks for the heads up i forgot and was pressing the prl unlock ##778 instead. Never had this much trouble. I think these phones are way more complicated than the 6700. I can see the phone on QPST but i'm not sure how to edit the the msl to 000000, insert the eri or dmu. Althogh i have flased and reg edited many phones this is my 1st carrier swap. I have been reading posts for a few years and yes i hate when ppl ask dum questions also, but i'm pretty savy and i read countless treads and i'm telling you the diamond is hard to reprogram for a virgin. I also know there will be others going the same route as me due to the low specs on vzw. This thread can save alot of headaches for users. I'v learned more in the last 2 days than a did last year. I also promised the tech at Verizon that it can be done and i will do it. I might not sleep, but i will get it done. If anyone understands what i'm going through and know anyone who has a done this before on a diamond. or even a thread for the diamond where i can find out exactly how to do this. Thanks

Re: Sprint Diamond on Verizon?

I had the Drivers already. i also have bitpim, Se47, xv132, vzw eri 4, and the 10.key dmu file. I can see the phone and the esn on QPST. i just need a Diamond specific map of how to install the dmu and how to clear the msl. Hate to ask for a walk through, but since i don't know exactly what to do. I might have to swallow my pride. Has anyone able to get the ota programming done yet?

Re: Sprint Diamond on Verizon?

It should be ##3424 If that doesnt work just go into your windows folder and run the dmrouter file.

Re: Sprint Diamond on Verizon?

I was reading the Device activation request form and realized they will not provide data. It Doesn't pay to wait if you can't get data. i think i will try to figure that swap thing out. That way it will have full access.
