Diamonds available total RAM for Sprint model???

Okay, so I'm messing around with the Diamond, having fun as usual, but fighting the stupid security cable :P, and I go to the Memory utility and it said I think 209 total RAM, 64MB was being used and 139MB (give or take) is available.

Now I thought this device came with 288MB of memory? So where's the other 88Megs? Unless I'm missing something that I'm not quite remembering when it comes to mobile devices and total amount of system RAM.

Re: Diamonds available total RAM for Sprint model???

The missing memory is dedicated to Windows Mobile, and cannot be used.

Re: Diamonds available total RAM for Sprint model???

They are correct, Out of 288 75 to 80 mb ram is dedicated to the OS, this is due to TF3D and the interface. There is a way to change it but a custom rom would need to be used and TF3D would need to be removed including all sprint software extras.
