Mp3 ringtones used for ALARM CLOCK

hey everyone. I was wondering, since i know how to create, upload and install mp3 ringtones as the ringers for TEXTS and PHONE CALLS, is it possible to put them as the alarm sounds. Literally, the stock alarms......suck, and since i really depend on my alarm on my phone, i need to find some sort of way to get loud, long lasting alarm sounds or ringtones.......well...for the alarm. Its sad when i have to use my INSTINCT as my alarm clock, but until i can find a way to put mp3 ringtones as the alarm sounds, im pretty much stuck lol. Thanks for yalls help

Re: Mp3 ringtones used for ALARM CLOCK

Well at least you found a use for your Instinct!
You can load custom sounds for your alarm, they just have to be .wav files and you need to save them in your Windows folder.
I use Audacity to edit my ringtones. It can export to .mp3 and .wav, among lots of other formats. It's free too, so it's a great value!
Hope that helps!
Myke...

Klaxxon is good. I use MortPlayer for my music player and it has a great alarm built-in as well. It is free, has great skins, and runs great on the Diamond.
