Stopping phone wake up

My phone continues to just wake up for no reason. I'm guessing it's switching towers? Is there a way so that it doesn't search for new towers constantly? Or is there another issue altogether?

i've noticed the same thing happening on my Diamond. Not sure why either.

if you dont have this app. on your diamond its one of the best. may have fix for you, but if not, theres plenty of tweeks you might need. http://montecristoff.webs.com/

FYI, If you install diamond tweak you might not be able to answer incoming calls.

Are you guys using an airwave? I notice that wakes up my phone a lot (it did it with my last phone all the time too).

the problem with the phone waking up for no reason has plagued winmo ppc's for ages - going back to htc apache [ppc6700] phones and prior. I have not come across an actual actual fix, just a lot of speculation.
