Funny... I had the half screen from the getgo.

I downloaded it on Opera. And then completely removed it and redownloaded it to my PC and then transfered the cab.

I even tried the idea on Post 20. and the EXE movement from skyfire to the program files.

Did you install into the actual system memory, or the internal storage?

I installed in on the internal storage. Using IE to download it seems to work much better than Opera. I've heard there are problems when downloading with opera.

Re: SkyFire 7081!

why would downloading skyfire with PIE versus Opera versus PC make a difference? aren't they all the same CAB file?

I just followed the link from the text and downloaded it using PIE and it did the same thing.

Re: SkyFire 7081!

I tried to install this on my 800W and I get an issue where it gets stuck on the installation screen for a long time with that lil circle with four colors spinning forever... left it sitting in the installation screen for over 10 minutes.... my older version of skyfire installed good but this one wont for some reason. Any ideas as to why?

Re: SkyFire 7081!

Well it will work on diamond if you install it let it launch and than close it out. Then go back and open it, from that point on you can surf the web. Only thing is you cant enter text or it will go back to half screen. What i recommend is to make bookmarks, which you can do on half screen. That is the only workaround i found. But only reason i use it is to watch embedded videos so i dont expect much more from Skyfire. Unless they can prove me wrong, but i will proably have another phone by then thats not supported.

Re: SkyFire 7081!

heres what i'm doing as a workaround to get skyfire working.

we all get the jacked up page after hitting ENTER or doing anything OUTSIDE of skyfire when it is running. it seems that when you enter in an url, instead of hitting ENTER on the physical keyboard, you push the RIGHT ARROW (GO TO) and it works fine.

it's tedious but it works until it gets fixed. or like someone else suggested, A LOT OF BOOKMARKS

Thanks for sharing that..Your method does work. Have you noticed the screen is not that clear, or is it just me?

Re: SkyFire 7081!

I Agree The Screens Blurry Untill You Zoom Real Close. I Also Hate It That You Have To Tap On A Link A Couple Times To Get It Going. I Think It's Slower That The First Beta 2. That's Just What It Seems Like On My Mogul
