right thats where i was going with it. but the they put the led's in the two different versions of the pearl, and they were different. cuz u know sprint/verizon/alltel pearls only have white. someone on crackberry.com said that the actual leds themselves determine if they can produce different colors, on the other hand, your rationale makes just as much sense. more voltage=whiter light, kinda like HID headlamps, the higher the voltage and temperature the whiter the light.
I dont have a clue where to start either though lol
also, some people hate the service light, (i.e. the mogul led flashing green when in coverage) but i want it, does your program have that option to maybe have the led flash every x amount of seconds as a status indicator? i love that feature, but im wondering what kind of effect on the battery that would have if we could write a script to enable that.
