Re: got a replacement diamond but the old one still has active data
They usually tell you to turn the old phone off for at least 24 hours after the ESN swap. I think they mention that somewhere online, but I know they tell you that when you do it over the phone.

Re: got a replacement diamond but the old one still has active data
you're gonna need to reprogram the phone completely. turn the old phone off, take the battery out, then program your phone. i'm a sprint rep and this happens when the old phone is powered on during programing. try ##DATA# but you're going to need your MSL and try resetting the data. hope this helps

its because you have the 2 devices close together.
i could do this on my old devices as well.

You have to turn both devices off for a while, then only turn on your new one. You may have to run the "profiling" again..
If you leave both devices on, your old device will still be authenticated on their towers until you turn it off.. -CC
