remapping buttons with start -> settings -> Buttons ->

I enabled lanscape rotation in the registry and I want to map it to a hardware button. However, when I go into start -> settings -> buttons -> program buttons, there is only one button listed:

Send key (Hold)

In my old PPC there were a bunch of buttons that could be remapped. What gives?

The above key is already mapped to Voice Command so I'd like to map to another key.

Thx,

Jeff

Hey thanks very much for the link to the exe, but I'm still confused by the lack of buttons to map in start -> settings -> buttons.

I have changed the registry so that under "2. assign a program" on the above location, "<rotate screen>" shows up. Indeed, I can successfully assign <rotate screen> to "Send key(Hold)", and it works just fine.

But why is my device listing "Send key(Hold)" as the only hardware button that is available to assign? Is this somehow related to TouchFlo3D? There should be several keys available for remapping.

This is with Sprint Diamond.

Cheers,

Jeff

Looks like an interesting program, but I still don't understand why only one key is available to remap in WM 6.1. Perhaps TouchFlo3D expects to have the other keys mapped in a specific way?

Does your Diamond also list only a single key available for remapping under start -> settings -> buttons?

Ok, thanks. So this must intended then. Seems like a pretty major limitation. I'll take a closer look at the programs you suggested.

Thanks again!

Jeff
