Typing on Diamond coming from Touch

keyboard is quicker, Ive been using the diamond style input method on my touch so im used to it coming to the Diamond, but i dont miss my moguls slide out board at all!!!! Although that predictive word bar at the top of the board irritates me!!

Click the abc - t9 button and turn it off?

Yes it is but it seems to function a little better. I think the response time is way faster an the I mess up way less on this keyboard.

MY 2 CENTS AND PLEASE HELP!!!

On my touch with the iphone keyboard and pcm keyboard, I was texting really fast, with no issues at all... it was actually better than touchpal (which I personally do not like... I like full QWERT keyboards...

Anyway... now I have the diamond and cannot find a good VGA iphone skin for it... so for now... I AM DESPERATELY TO FIND IT!!! CAN ANYONE HELP???

However for web surfing and putting in passwords I find it a little annoying since those require using special characters and changing out the keyboard often. The predictive text also gets annoying when I try to put in URLs even though I have it set to Full Qwerty.

Those that have gone to a Diamond from a Touch, has the on-screen keyboard experience gotten better? If so how? And I'm not talking about installing 3rd party keyboard apps.

I had a Touch as well and although I really like the Diamond...I can tell that in about 6 months I'm gonna be completely over the on screen keyboard. I mean, it works fine and all, but It's sooooooo easy to make mistakes, even if you're hitting the right spot. Plus, I dunno about everyone else, but you can't type too fast it cant keep up....or it registers as you hitting the screen in 2 different places so nothing shows up..
