Dropped my Diamond (post your battle scars)

It was raiing quite hard and I was in an alley where the wind felt like a hurricane was comming. I made a dash for the nearest opening. Wasn't using an unbrella nor did I have any sort of rain coat or any protection against the rain.

When suddenly, I hear something fall.. I see my phone bounce and slide. Battery slid to another direction. The battery cover flew off and kept flipping down the block..

Grabbed the phone ran for the cover, ran back to get the battery.. Lost the stylus.. It was no where in sight..

Picked it up, top over the ear piece you can see the shining metal under the smoked paint that there once was.. Stylus corner has some paint chipped off as well..

Screen was ok, the touch pad/dpad area seems a bit lifted on the right side. no scraped in the front, thank goodness..

Wiped off the moisture, took it home, and put it under a dryer for a while, before putting the battery back on. Powered up ok..

All that was going thru my head was.. Exi3ld's phone picture..

The phone was in the HTC casing closed and tucked under my shirt.. It's what surprised me that the phone flew out in the first place, i usually just keep phoes in my pocket, but this one I put in the case because the screeen protector was peeling and getting lint on it.. So much for that.. Back in my pocket..

Damn. I hate getting scratches on my phones. I dropped my Mogul twice in one day.It looks like it went thru a war. I am so mad. i was gonna go get another one. But I said I would just wait for the Touch Pro to come out. no use in loading apps on a new Mogul just to get rod of it

i dropped my diamond once on the tile here at work... it bounced every piece that was removable came off and went flying.... but get this. not one scratch! i shat my self because i though for sure it was busted bad. but i got extremely lucky!

Sorry didn't get a chance to get pictures of the phone.

The whole pad area on the right side next to the DPad started lifting itself, it would not react as it should. When I pressed back it would think I pressed right dpad and I had to press the end key more often to hang up..

Took it back to a store and they swapped it out for a new one (Im within the 30days).

Let's see, I dropped my Treo 700wx running to my car and watched the memory card shoot across the street. I dropped my first Mogul and the scroll wheel never worked the same again

. Last but not least I watched my Touch vibrate off the sink and in an attempt to catch it the damn thing fell in the toilet bowl, lol. I swear when I get the Touch Pro I'm getting all kinds of shields and locking holsters, lol.

lol it wasnt a smartphone but it was one of those sanyo vm4500 when they first came out with the sprint readylink.. Well i was on the phone and needed to blow my nose so i went into the rest room and reach over to grab some toliet paper and boom my damn phone feel off my shoulder and wouldnt you know it right into the toliet.. Damn phone closed and slid back into the toliet.. It ended up getting stuck and i had to remove the toliet to be able to get the phone out.. I was soo pissed, of course the phone was wasted after that..
