TF3D Config not working - Page 2

what O'NielMitchell is saying is to put the file in the the directory after you've used the original cab to install the program. ....
I have cabbed up his changed tweak file so those who are having problems can use this cab (same file just cabbed to install)... so first install tf3dconfig then this cab and/or copy ONiel's file to the program directory to overwrite the bad file.

I ran across this problem today.
The tweaks.xml replacement worked for me.

I wanted to have this available next time I need to install it,
so I took the original install cab - "Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7.CAB" and replaced the tweaks.xml file.

Now I have this cab file - "Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7 with fixed tweaks file.CAB"

I'm attaching it here incase someone else needs it.

still not working for me. i know in the original post it said it doesnt work on 1.93 roms. im on 1ntx 1.6, idk if thats a 1.93 rom but im guessing thats why its not working.

Did you try his suggestions regarding the exception errors?

One thing he says is to try deleting the tweaks.xml completely if the registry fix doesn't work.

Regarding the 1.93 roms, I'm pretty sure he's referring to GSM roms, since they don't really have any CDMA Diamond activity on XDA.

FYI It also works just fine if you just delete the tweaks.xml file out of the installed folder, you don't actually need to have that file at all.

i'm SO happy this finally came up. i hated having to delete that file everytime i reflashed

Because deleting the tweaks.xml file seems to work too, I wonder if a cab file w/o the tweaks.xml in it will work?
Figured I try making one and uploading it here.
I haven't tried this cab, just thought I'd make it and put it up incase anyone wants to take a stab at it.
For me, the cab I posted in post #12 works fine.

Anyways, all I did was delete the tweaks file and saved it as
"Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7 without tweaks file.CAB"

Here it is, and if someone tries it, please post in this thread w/ your results.
