Keep in mind that there may be a reason WHY they don't enable the GPS Photo option out of the box... They never advertised that functionality or mentioned it, AFAIK. But people have turned it on in the registry anyway.

And thus is the ever-present, neverending debate on numerous ppc communities...

Hardware crippling via missing drivers is far too prevalent in today's tech market IMO.
