Htc has sprite back up free for GSM Diamonds

I was on their site and downloadinig some ringtones and notice that they are offering a Sprite back up for Diamond. Just put in your s/n # and you can download it. I just wished I had knows about this cause I had already bought Sprite Lite for window6.

This for Sprint? or were you on the GSM site?

im not aware of it being free, but from what ive heard, they offer it for $10 or with terminator for $20. a sweet deal. im about to purchase one or the other, so ill update.

Must be for the gsm cause it would not take my s/n number. Why do they get it and Sprint people do not?

i didnt even have to enter anything. just bought it for $10.

weird. the authorization code i received is entered under the 'authorize' screen. looks like it took...

It's all about the contract that the carrier and HTC have, I'll bet. Which would always leave us out because Sprint is cheap.

Not necessarily, my Treo800w came with Sprite already installed on it. I was expecting the Diamond to come with it too. I was suprised when it did not.

Palm must offer Sprite cheap on Treos, or it is free to the carriers, because I have had two Treos, from two different carriers, and both had Sprite backup.
