Music stopping randomly.

sorry if this has been posted befor. i searched "music stop, music stopping, music stops"

When i had my touch i had this problem. Now with my Diamond i still have the same problem.

No matter what media player i used. WMP, slide 2, the sprint one, etc

ill be listening to music on the way home(DC Metro) and for no reason at all the songs will just stop playing. With the Diamond i usually just hit play again. With the touch all of the sound would cut off and i would have to soft reset the phone.

Re: Music stopping randomly.

I also have this problem on the Touch and noticed it happens when I lose signal. It usually happens after I flash a new rom, but it eventually goes away.

At some point after I start using a new rom, I get notification errors on boot up and use Memmaid to delete all my notifications. I think this usually coincides with the time when the music problem stops. I just had to do that today, so I'll get to test out my theory on the way home.

Re: Music stopping randomly.

I use MortPlayer and never have an issue with my music stopping. I have played through an entire playlist of over 20 songs and it goes until the end.

Mine (telus) sometimes stop as well, but it's actually the sound that stop, the music player continue to play like there was no problem but there is no sound coming out of the phone...I have to soft reset and it piss*** me off!!

I didn't have any problems on the commute home, so you guys can try deleting all notifications using memmaid or some other program and see if that works.

I read that deleting all notifications can cause some problems with activesync, so I've been running FixASRunAt.exe afterwards. When you run it, it doesn't say anything, there's just an ok button.

FixASRunAt.zip

Mine has done that a few times too. Sound stops for all applications too? Soft reset is the only way I've been able to bring it back. I'm gonna take mine back and exchange it while I'm still in my 1st 30 days
