Garmin on Diamond vs Google map

I installed Garmin XP on Sprint Diamond and it works great.

Here are the comparision between google map and Garmin:

Garmin:
- Requires large space due to map ( I select only costal states and it took 500MB in internal storage, plus 6MB of device storage )
- Lock Sattelite is faster than google
- Has great Text to speech but no street name as Garmin 350 does.
- Point of interest such as Gas, Gas price, airport, etc
- Not require internet unless you want gas price, weather, etc

Google:
- Sattelite view is awesome. you can see roof of your house.
- Lock sattelite is slower but less a minute.
- require internet and data usage is alot (not good with sprint 5GB cap)
- not easy and user friendly like garmin
- no point of interest, no arrival time, no speed limit, no turn signal, no text to speech; garmin has all of these plus more.
- use alot of battery since it constantly download map data
- if you're in an area without 3G signal, you're lost
- if you're going north, it shows that you're forward. but if you're then going south, the arrow goes toward you I had to turn the phone 180 degree in order to feel normal
- the phone is very warm since it uses 3G and rendering map. if you hold more than 15 minutes, you feel like you are holding a brick from a oven.
- too much click/select in order to do basic direction.
- FREE, yeeehaa.

I want to sell my Garmin 350, still semi new with box since I got my diamond.

Re: Garmin on Diamond vs Google map

Are the directions accurate for the Garmin XT? As good as your Garmin 350?

Can you "suggest" how to transfer the contents of the Garmin XT memory card to the Sprint Diamond? According to Garmin, it's not possible to do this.

Thanks

I don't see much difference between Garmin 350 and XT in term of direction.
they both similar.

I installed garmin XT on my laptop first, then when connect diamond to my laptop, and do a map install, it asked me to select mobile device(which is diamond), then it asked where to install (either diamond device storage or internal storage).

if your phone has a memory card, you still have to put it in the phone and install as internal memory, except you have an option to use card reader.
