I am using BeeJive right now coz it has the cleanest UI of the major players. You can turn of the sound, have the phone vibrate, have the LED flash.. Its all done through the Sounds & Notifications panel so you get the idea I am sure.

EDIT: I was a palringo user on the Mogul. RAM and CPU on the Diamond allow me to use BeeJive which was just not possible with the Mogul.

When I tried the beta aim I can't see my typing in the little window that is left, I'm not that great with this onscreen keyboard, I'd like to see whats coming up! anyone else with this issue?

Also when I tried using the OZ program the recipient couldn't see any messages only myname would come up on his screen no text!

I am sticking with Agile Messenger since I paid an arm and leg for it a few years ago for a lifetime license. But I would like ideas on getting one of the above to work satisfactorily since my buddy will be getting the pro and doesn't want to pay for an additional program. (I'm kinda his personal geek so I get to fix up his phone for him.)

Anyway, anyone with the above issues?

OH one more, keyboard wise when I use the force landscape my text is all on top of itself when typing, but after sending shows up properly in the window, any fix for that?

that's cool, but i think most people here have like sprint and vzw and most people have unlimited data/texts.
the diamond's m.i.r. requires a data plan.
