I experienced something rather strange today. I had tried the standard file and didn't really notice much of a difference. I tried the allblue version and my data went dead. I figured Sprint screwed up something, so I called support. My phone wouldn't even take my unlock code. It was very strange. It didn't even dawn on me that I had replaced that file earlier in the morning.

After an hour on the phone with Sprint, I remembered about that file. I deleted it and POOF, my data started working again. Go figure.

Using the standard Stock ROM from Sprint.

that is REALLY strange since this file only applies to the audio levels on the phone

A person I spoke to today said they could hear themselves (approx 1 second delay) say everything they just said but this only happened when I put them on speakerphone. It seemed fine to me though. Im gonna try it for a few more days. just a FYI

The odd thing was I noticed it read: SPRINT PHONE AS MODEM in the connection box. Once I removed the file, it returned to just SPRINT and the data started working.

I can't explain it. It only did that on the ALLBLUE version. I tested it again and it did the same thing.
