SPB pocket plus has this built in
But more options never hurt anybody.

Re: Soft Reset app. No more removing battery cover to soft reset.

I prefer using the power button as well. It takes longer, but properly shuts your phone down first.

this is ap app that will allow you to softreset your device without removing the battery cover. since the diamond doesn't have a reset hole on the outside of the device, i figured many would like this.

how to use =
download the zip file below. unzip it and you will find the cab file. put it on your device and run it to install the app. then you will see a icon in you program list that says "reset". once you select it, it will ask if you want to reset device. select and device does softreset.

hope someone likes it, Cody
Nice. I put it in the rong thread ?

Thanks T M Z

Re: Soft Reset app. No more removing battery cover to soft reset.

Sweet, was looking for something simple, having trouble finding it. This seemed to work great on my Treo 800w.

Do you know of anything that will actually power the phone all the way off, without it coming back on? i.e. for travel when you know you're not going to be using the phone and want to preserve the battery. Currently you can hold the power button and turn off the phone/data, but the power never actually shuts completely off. Thanks!

Re: Soft Reset app. No more removing battery cover to soft reset.

Thanks, I was considering putting on PS Shutdown, but I just want a button to reset and this is it, thanks!

And this is NOT the same as holding the power button. Which shuts off the phone, then you have to press the power button to turn it back on.

Thanks again!
