Re: whos going to try to get android
I've been looking at videos and the stock interface is nice and I like the "long push" feature as context sensitive right click-type menu. There are definitely good things about, but it also does not look completely optimized yet, especially with the Chrome-Lite web browser.
What I do love, however, is the completely cloud computing aspect of it. With so many people using Google utilities (Gmail, Calendar, Talk) it's awesome to see nothing has to change when using Android. Save a contact on the phone, and it'll immediately appear in your Gmail address book, accessible from your computer or anywhere. Chat with a buddy, and the chat is saved and again accessible from anything and anywhere with an internet connection. Place an errand date on your computer using Google Calendar, and a notification will pop up on your Android phone when the time comes.
It's all completely in the cloud, and completely synchronized. Lose your phone or even your computer, and it's all still there. Of course there are dangers and/or fears to leaving all your information to one company's servers, but for the general non-business user, it shouldn't be a problem.
