Re: Sprint Diamond AudioManager_eng.exe error help!
Update:
I found the problem! I have two albums that are WMA's and for whatever reason the HTC audioManager and Kinoma player don't like them. When both albums are loaded on the internal storage card, both programs fail. I removed the two albums and everything works with no problems. Now if I can only figure out to get the audioManager to display all of my albums on the music tab versus the now playing tracks, I would be happy. Thanks, GP |

Re: Sprint Diamond AudioManager_eng.exe error help!
Turns out that the error is the result of having an album with the same name as the artist. Just edit the tags on your MP3 and change the name of the Album to something different from the name of the artist (or vice-versa). At least that did the trick for me. Hope this helps others with this problem.

That is retarded. Off the top of my head I can think of dozens of artists that have albums that are self-titled. What kind of crackhead programmers did they hire for the music app?

Re: Sprint Diamond AudioManager_eng.exe error help!
I don't think that's the problem, I have two albums in my Music folder that are self titled. My Audio Manager and WMP work just fine. Check the hierarchy, remember it has to be; \Internal Storage\Music\Artist\CD Title\CD Tracks.

Re: Sprint Diamond AudioManager_eng.exe error help!
Sorry for the bump -- I just got the Sprint's Touch Pro and I'm getting this "A problem has occurred with AudioManager_eng.exe." error message each time I try to play or scroll through my music.
A couple things to note: I have no album info listed for any of the files. All of the files are mp3, no WMAs or anything. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. |
