Tilt flaky in Opera?

So I noticed today while browsing with Opera that the tilt functionality is a bit flaky on my phone. I'd tilt it to landscape mode, and it would stay that way for 30 sec to a couple minutes, and would then suddenly jump back to portrait while I still held it sideways. I'd hold it normally again, and then tilt it back to landscape, but it wouldn't switch, it would stay in portrait mode. After tilting it back and forth a couple times, I'd finally get it to switch back to landscape, but only for a short while before it would switch back to portrait again on its own.

I know it's not an issue with the accelerometer, as other apps like viewing pictures or a Sprint Nav GPS map, switch back and forth between the two layouts quicky and correctly. IS anyone else experiencing this in Opera?

I also get that, also if I open opera and close it sometimes I can't get Opera to open back up unless I soft reset.

anyone else experiencing this with the standard sprint rom? What about anyone running a cooked rom?

I get those same problems on the standard Sprint ROM. The tilting I can live with, but after I use Opera 4 or 5 times it won't start again, I don't get a splash screen or any indication that it is starting.

wtf...i havent gotten that problem yet and i hope i never do..did yall drop yall phones?
