diamond youtube lag?

it seems like the youtube playback freezes every few seconds with the sprint rom, anyone else experience this?

Not at all......... mines seems to play all the way. I know theres a option that you can set to lower quality rather than high. That might help you if you have a weak edvo signal.

I notice some lag with Telus version and also notice that youtube program automatically closes after a few minutes of use (played a 12 minute clip and closed automatically near the end). Also, it causes an extreme lag on the system after closing (seems like it is taxing the cpu and/or data network). Almost everytime I use it, I have to reset the phone becasue it would freeze or would not wake up from standby.

go to your youtube settings and switch the video playback quality from High Quality to Fast Download or Auto-Select.

hmmm... do you have good signal (coverage in your area?) (how about over wifi do you get the same result when your pulling video down via wifi? Also, you may want to try closing some programs. That may muck stuff up.

you can fix lip sync by lowering the buffering i think im on 1180. try going down in steps, it will work.

Sorry to raise this thread from the dead, but I have the same problem. I'm trying to implement these fixes, but my youtube app doesn't seem to have a settings menu? I know, this is pretty noobish, and I'm probably just missing it somehow, but could someone point me in the right direction?
