Re: Diamond MSL code lookup ?
the mdl's are tied directly in to the phones esn and are unique, no two phones have the same msl.. sprint is very hesitant to give out the msl's, due to the fact a "basic" customer could really mess up their phone. in addition there are two msl's assigned to each phones esn, a OTMSL (One Time Master Subsidary Lock) and the MSL. so they may give you the OTMSL, how ever it will only work the one time. as per sprint policy, an agent is not SUPPOSED to give the MSL out, it is only to be given for programming purpuses.

Re: Diamond MSL code lookup ?
I have asked and been given the MSL for MY phones every time. (Very little resistance.)

Re: Diamond MSL code lookup ?
Whenever I buy a phone in a store, I always say "I'll buy it if you give me the MSL". Have had some funny looks, but never heard "no".
For online orders, I have a CSR activate it manually - the MSL is the number in the ##nnnnnn#. |

Re: Diamond MSL code lookup ?
yes i know what the msl is. but sprint likes to handle the msl with care, because, like i said before, someone can really mess up their phone with the msl, u can use the msl to edit in for in ##data, ##rtn, ##prl, ect ect...
